Review: Fruiteamix Greenhills

One of the times I went to Konbini Store, I noticed the Fruiteamix Milk Tea Shop beside it. I decided that I’ll try it after leaving Konbini. After having my fill with Konbini ramen and kani cream, I moved to the neighbor to try their milk tea.

Fruiteamix is a small shop but it looks bright and cheerful. I don’t know when they opened but their service was very slow when I went there and there were only a few customers there.

There was no queue at that time. I asked the staff taking my order what their best seller is. She said it’s Premium Milk Tea and Honeydew Milk Tea. I said that I want to try Premium Milk Tea with Pearls (P95 for large). I gave her P100 but she said I’m still P5 short. I was thinking that maybe it’s for the pearls so I gave the money to her and waited. It felt like ages when I was finally called. I was in a hurry so I didn’t check if they got my order right.

When I got home, I was very annoyed when I saw what was in the plastic bag they gave me. It was a large Honeydew Milk Tea. To add insult to injury, there were no pearls! I couldn’t do anything anymore since I was already home and it’s not worth it to drive back just to have it changed. I just had to settle with Honeydew.

It tastes okay but nakakaumay. If there were pearls it would have been better because it chases away the umay. I had to throw away the drink after drinking half of it because it was making me gag already.

Honeydew Milk Tea

Fruiteamix, I hope you’ve improved by now but based on that experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.
